The hard is what makes it great
I started off in cartooning, graphic design, journalism and computer science - each of which had its appeal. But I found that character animation was difficult and exciting on a whole different level. The bar was raised further when I started working in game development, theme park animatronics and experimental robotics, allowing me to bring in some of those other skillsets, build new ones and tackle challenges that land in a spectrum between nearly and truly impossible.
This type of work itches my brain just right.
